No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries June

Thought about buying some new products and then remembered this thread. So high five you all.
Threw out some vegan greens supplement to go in smoothies, I mean why not just add a handful of spinach? Couldn't face that after yesterday's nasty stuff. Also threw out a pp by the same company and a rather weird trial supplement of omega fatty acids that had probably gone rancid as had been in cupboard so long. Trying to use up something to help me cope with stress (blame the ex). I think it is ineffective but will keep going.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

First UU: Bath & Body Works Winter Candy Apple handwash. This has been in the kitchen. I'm not a fan of this fragrance however it was a freebie.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I was in TK Maxx today, that place is usually my down fall for skincare, and I'm proud to say I stayed away from the skincare section and didn't buy a thing, whoop!February NSDs: 0 / 10

Morning all, couple of UU's from the weekend:
Skin & Me Light Moisturiser deluxe sample: was ok, did the job, got it free with my first order from there. Back to my versed dew point moisturiser which is almost done too!
Yves Rocher Coconut EDT: I think I got this as a freebie with an order a long time ago. Was ok, scent stayed around for a while, WNBA as I have lots of other perfumes and fragrance to work through.

UU This Works Breathe
Sorry to see that used up and would buy again but have a couple of other sleep pillow sprays and another similar roller ball thing too.

Love the This Works sleep sprays @Watty1, they seem to be the only ones that work for me when I'm really struggling to sleep
Few more UU's from me while I'm still at my parents house:
REN Firming Beauty Shot: This was another deluxe sample size. I remember when this came out and everyone was raving about it but appears it's no longer sold 🤣 Used it as a night serum and it did the job, not sure I noticed any obvious firming from it though.
Etude House Drawing Eye Brow: this is my HG brow pencil, cheap as chips in Korea and have been using it for years. One pencil lasts me about a year but they appear to have re-formulated and now the shades are apparently different. Have a new one ready to go at home but haven't swatched it yet to see what the shade is like. In the mean time I've replaced it with Glossier Boy Brow which is ok I think, good for a quick everyday, slightly more groomed look.
Collection Clear Mascara: used this to set my brows when using the Etude House. Again, cheap and does the job better than some "brow gels" that are on the market.
Clarins 4D Wonder Mascara: another mini product, has dried up now so out it goes. Liked the effect it gave but it did smudge so was for at home work calls only.
Clarins Double Serum Sample: had a few of these hanging around in my travel bag just in case the REN didn't last the week. I really don't get the hype with this, it doesn't feel like it's hydrating enough for my skin compared to my regular serums.
Biossance Rose & Vitamin C Oil: HG face oil, love this, lasts for ages and works for my skin. Have replaced with another bottle.
Also have treated myself to something random - some Shu Uemura eyelash curlers. So far this year I've had to buy 3 new lash curlers because they keep breaking on me, and this time the latest ones have bent somehow overnight despite just being in my makeup bag and not moving. So I thought I'd treat myself to a "proper" (i.e. not so cheap) pair of curlers in the hope that they'll be more robust. I did have some credit with Cult Beauty so think I only paid about £5 of my own money for them. Anyone else having problems with beauty tools breaking on them recently?Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20173 -

UU E45 Shower Gel
Bought when struggling with skin, not sure what the issue really is/was but suspect had to do with age and stress. Nothing to like or dislike about it, will have to BA if cannot tolerate the many shower gels I have in the stash. Have replaced with one from stash to see ...Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
