Couldn't resist posting, Last day SP 2yr Fixed Rate Electricity, Energy Crisis starts tomorrow.
SP SVR it is then, how SC and Eco 7 rates have increased since early 2021.

Looking forward to Smart Meter info tomorrow morning.
This is from early 04:00 rise today.

I guess there's Extremely Limited provider swaps over next few months.

I think many people will be getting a shock this year. There are 1.4 million coming off fixed prices so you are not alone.

Your smart meter may not get updated with the new tariff immediately so don't depend on it for accurate costs...

Certainly as next few months the pain is due to arrive, though is this a valid reason to choose fixed rates in future, for these difficult times every few years.

    thanks

It's my 1st full year with Excellent Smart Meter, I thought Tariff costs would be Immediate.
+ I'll need New SVR Rates for Dimplex Quantum being installed, possibly this week.

    thanks

The update may get sent out to your smart meter and then on to your IHD immediately, but even if it isn't, it has no impact on billing, only on the IHD display...

My 2 year fix ends next month. I’m just grateful that I missed the worst of the high prices, yet still got the £150 for being in a band D property, £400 government support payments and extra £300 on the winter fuel payment.

Surely being on a fix you didn't squander the £400 EBSS payments and let them build up in your account for this coming year.

That would be good account management.

Not quite, always in Credit only 115 currently.
    Increased DD should suffice.

I feel your pain. I came off a 2 year E7 EDF fix at the end of April and my day & night units and SC doubled.
