You can put together a witness statement based on one of the recommended ones these days, either @aphex007 or @SJRRJS and use these as examples of style and format.  Witness statements are used to back up and provide evidence of what you put in your defence, in your case that will focus heavily on the signage.

Thanks for the links to those templates I am trying to extract the relevant passages to put into my narrative Im not finding it easy!    Fortunately DCB sent me all the evidence I need and I am going to ring them to find out if I need to send them back copies of all the stuff they sent me. Should I have a go to persuade them to drop it all I think I have a strong case. Or just say see you in court!

Can clock up another win. Having presented my witness statement DCB wrote to say their client had dropped the case. I didnt use the template defence and just concentrated on using their evidence and a photo I took in situ to demonstrate that a 15cm x 3cm piece of writing is not readable 40 metres away.                                                                                                                                I now have to get on dealing with parkingeye who are sending me increasingly threatening letters about a 3hours stop in keele services one night in december last year. I will be using the legibility of their signs argument again! Not sure wether to carry on ignoring them as I do normally (40 and counting going back 10 years) or to request their evidence and say I will see you in court.

    Yay!  Nicely done.

    A discontinuance = a win!

Calling @Umkomaas to add your case to the list!

And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the final Government Public Consultation this Summer?

    Anticipated July/August.

We all need to ram the nail in the coffin of the false £70 'DRA fee' add-on, that actually funds the court claim and toxic CCJ culture, as well as the DRA and roboclaim 'legals' gaslighting of people.

Please come back here when it opens.

If you are not a regular reader, to be alerted you'll need to bookmark the thread by MSE_JC at the top of the forum and enable (on your profile) email alerts for bookmarked threads.

Then join us when the Consultation opens. ...PLEASE!

We need all MSE victims of this horrific harassment and bullying to be heard.

Well done in seeing off UKPC and DCB Legal. Your name now in lights in the DCB Legal Discontinuation thread.

ParkingEye PCNs should never be ignored, and unlike your UKPC/DCB Legal case, you are very likely to see PE in court. Please start a new thread if you want help with this PCN.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Thanks for your help and comments.I will certainly contribute to the consultation. PE have sent me a form about how to pay them prior to court action, nowhere on the form for challenging the pcn! I have 30 days to respond or else! I guess I need to start a new thread.
