Corporate credit card

in Credit cards
I recently left a company where I had a corporate credit in my name. I usually used the card throughout the month and then put in expenses that were paid into my personal account. I would then pay off the monthly balance of the corporate card using the funds from my personal account (if they had been paid to me). The benefit of this method was, if the company failed to reimburse me in time, I could then claim back any interest charges and I would not personally be out of pocket. However, I have moved abroad since leaving the company and the card and all associated login details have been revoked. I am now unable to pay any outstanding bill and my previous company has not returned my e-mails. I don't want to end up with a hefty bill some months down the line or a bad credit score or even worse be in trouble with the law, does anyone have any advice? I've tried contacting the credit card company direct, but I need my card details and I don't have them anymore. Seems unusual that they don't want to get the money back and i'm the one chasing them to give it to them!

Your card details will be on any previous statements or correspondence.
Alternatively phone your previous company. Emails will go to the bottom of the pile.

The company you worked for will soon contact you, when their acc handler at the CC informs them that they have a debt on one of their cards.
End of the day, you pay them what you owe. Any charges or late fee's are their responsibility.Life in the slow lane1 -
Slight tangent, is this common? Only places Ive ever seen with expense accounts are
- You pay for stuff, submit expenses, they pay you
or
- They give you a CC, you use it, they pay it
Ive never seen a "heres a CC, use it, pay it and submit a request for money" - seems like the worst of both worlds.

My corporate CC was like that back in the late 80s/early 90s, but my last was I used, submitted expenses and the company paid.0
