Advice needed - Charged different amount for car repair

All,
Thank you for reading - I would like some advice on a tyre replacement I recently had on my car. I was quoted over the phone £145. When I checked my bank statement the next morning I was charged £174. Because it was verbal, my credit card company are not interested. The garage (it was a mobile tyre fitting company) will not provide me an invoice despite numerous messages and I am now being ignored. To further add, whilst fitting my tyre they broke the tyre pressure sensor located inside the wheel. They replaced the part a few days later as promised however it is not a standard BMW part. Again, no receipt or paperwork for this. What rights do I have if any? They have charged me a different amount to what was agreed prior to the work being carried out and will not provide me with any form of receipt. They also damaged my tyre when fitting the tyre which had to then be further repaired. Any advice is welcome, thanks.

There is no legal right to a receipt. So it would be your word against theirs. If they’ve fixed the part they damaged, then I don’t see what the issue is with that.0

Would be more concerned by the fact that they damaged the tyre which they repaired? What was the damage, how was it repaired? Not sure anyone ‘repairs’ tyres?0

Sorry, to clarify, they replaced the tyre and whilst doing this is where they caused the damage to the sensor which is in the wheel itself. I am just frustrated that I was charged more than what I was told and it would appear that the garage aren't putting it through the books.baser999 said:Would be more concerned by the fact that they damaged the tyre which they repaired?
