USS/Capita Pension scheme data breach - anyone using a claim site?

No win no fee lawyers hide behind the label.
There are several fees that you may be liable for, win or lose.
It's actually "no win and you won't pay our legal fees, but you may still have to pay disbursements, expenses, expert fees, research fees, claim submission fees, subcontractor fees, fees from other parties,....".1 -
I have just found out about this data breach. Capita wrote to me yesterday 16/08/2023. It was my Marks and Spencer pension which I don’t actually have. I worked for M&S for under 2 years when I was 16, they refunded my pension when I left but kept hold of my details for 21 years. So they broke GDPR laws and as a consequence I have had my information stolen.I have instructed a solicitor to start compensation proceedings along with hundreds of other victims. They need to be held accountable for this gross negligence and pay through the nose, as that’s the only language they understand.0

What loss have you suffered that needs compensating for?0 -
Hi all. I have a USS pension and was informed my data had been stolen from Capita. I've been offered the year's subscription to Experian which comes to an end this June. In January I've received reports to say someone is asking for credit reports against my name relating to 3 different insurance companies. None of these are genuine and I'm really really concerned. Have contacted both Experian and USS pensions and had a very poor response.0

I am a former member of USS - transferred out in late 2022/early 2023, so wasn't a member at the time of the breach. Just wondering if there's a chance I could have been affected, as I've read the data breach goes back to 2021 when I was a member? How would I find out if I have been affected? Thanks in advance0

Can't see there being compensation due to anyone except the ICO.
Just keep a close on your experian reports. Set up a cifas protection as well0
