Hi there, not sure if this is the right board but we are holidaying in Australia at the moment and have bought a Wii for our son. We wanted to know if it can be used in the UK? Do we need some sort of adaptor to use it. Any help would be appreciated, in case we need to return it before we leave here because it won't work in the UK.
Many thanks,
Many thanks,

voltage is same but the plug is different so you will need an adaptor0

Thanks for that, so we just need a normal "holiday adaptor" then. That is great.0

If you don't want to keep it sell it at a high profit to the people who need to get one for a christmas present. That is assuming they are as scarce in Australia as everywhere else.0

Going back to Australia if there are any warranty issues might be a bit of a pain"She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

I hate that nintendo hate the UK. I was excited about swapping nintendo star points for wii points. WHen that finally came out and the numbers are so limited i bet they will always be out of stock. And star points have expirey dates now and I cant spend them except on stupid wall papers! grrr.0

eBay has plenty, as does stores and no one is having much luck selling over the RRP.
