PCN - Contravention Description: Failing to comply with a prohibition on certain types of vehicle

Hi everyone, any support would be much appreciated on this.

I received two PCNs in relation to the same contravention a few hours apart. I was moving flat and happened to drive down this street twice without realising it had a restriction on motor vehicles passing through. The road had plenty of cars on it and parked either side of the road, so I didn't bat an eyelid and drove through. I understand that's my mistake, but I think it's unfair to have been charged twice (within 4 hours of each other) for the same contravention on the same day. 

Any ideas on how to challenge this? PCN below:

Not really, the restrictions clearly marked as you enter the area looking at the pictures

I understand that, and that's my fault. It seems a bit unreasonable to be charged twice within a couple of hours though

Since we concentrate on parking charge notices from unregulated private parking companies, you would be better off taking this over to our friends on Pepipoo.com as they are the experts on council and police issues.
