What's this weed?

Our lawn is covered with this weed?
What is it and how do we get rid of it?

If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

The pic isnt very clear, but it looks like white clover. Do the flowers have three leaves?

Once told by a gardener, there’s no such thing as a weed.  Just an unwanted flower..
you could try going onto the RHS website, and use their plant identifier…

I would second the vote for common mouse ear- prolific self-seeder and good at ducking under a mower blade

Almost certainly Thyme-leaved Speedwell; my lawn is full of it.  It's green - can't complain.

Google lense is ace for identifying plants, I use it all the time

It looks so pretty in the photo.
My neighbour has sent me plenty of unwanted weeds into my lawn from hers. Keep the grass strong with a good uric feed and don't cut low.
You'll find the unwanted things go as the grass takes over.

Or you can say you are being in with the nurturing crowd and keeping a wild lawn for insects and birds :)
