Hi all and thanks for the start nmlc x
Sorry to hear about your SIL @TravellingAbuela - here's hoping she makes a good recovery.
Glad to see you back @-taff x
The weekend was eventful in that we staged an intervention with SIL who has anorexia. Don't think our relationship will be the same again, but I'm not having her death on my conscience. Have spoken to a lovely doctor at the eating disorder clinic this morning and things are in train. Have virtually lost my voice as a result, but it's a small price to pay.
Have a good day all

Afternoon all,Late one from me as I caught an early bus to the next town along, they have a good market on a Tuesday, with a good clothes stall which sells decent labels seconds, nothing took my eye. The pork pies on another stall did though, got some for the menfolk. Got some trainer socks as I have knocked the top off a blister scab again. Called in at M/S for a few bits including my fave seed & nut bars which I have as a treat in case I crave something sweet. On the way home I stayed on the bus right into our town to pick up my order from Boot s, then just made it in time for the next bus home. It felt a bit chilly out but I enjoyed my little trip as you go by lots of green fields and a lake.Tea tonight is a stir fry with a Thai sauce. Last night was another bbq, so the meat pack is almost used up now.TA sorry to hear of your SIL stroke, and Coxy- hope the intervention works, such a worry.Taff I used some wild garlic last week, there's loads round here, & I chopped some up and mixed it in butter for wild garlic butter.Take care all xx:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Hi everyone,
Late one from me because I have been on Esben watch this morning. I sorted his craft shelves while they were away and as a result have coloured, painted, legoed and jigsawed this morning. It wants only the playdoh. Oh well they say no good deed goes unpunished.
Poor Esther is ill, probably with COVID and I spent from 3 to 6 am holding her upright while she slept because it seems to have affected her stomach. Poor Laura needed a few hours sleep.
TA, sorry about your Sil and you too Coxy, I hope it helps.
Have a good day.
