Hi, here's my SOA.
I'm not in debt (apart from a credit card that gets paid off in full every month) so just looking for some advice on how my finances compare to others. I'm planning of buying my first home soon so trying to save as much as possible. Thanks!

Note: the groceries section includes all spending (I buy everything on my credit card - food, cleaning products, pet food, vet bills, clothes etc). The monthly amount was calculated by taking all spending for a year and divided by 12 (the actual amount varies every month, but looks about right over all).
I do not go out/on holidays (due to social anxiety) and don't buy any take-aways, presents etc (Xmas/b-day cards are included in the groceries section and stamp are free from the Royal Mail surveys). I walk/cycle everywhere so no transport costs.

So how much are you saving each month?

£550 in regular saving accounts. The rest stays in current account and at the end of the month (when all bills are paid) the excess goes to an easy access account. Just wondering if my spending (groceries etc) seem about right or if I'm spending too much. I don't think I can cut back on any utilities/bills, I've already reduced them to the bare minimum...

Are you on a water meter- your bill seems high.  We pay less than £30 a month in a 4 bed house.  At the other end of the scale your gas and electricity bills seem extremely low.

Your groceries look pretty good compared to mine if it includes cleaning stuff, dog stuff, clothes, presents and everything else.
Mine is twice that (not including dog who has a separate budget) although mine does include socialising/theatre tickets/holiday spending as well and I’m certainly not extravagant.
no point, cutting back to the bare bones, if it’s going to make you miserable.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

No water meter - annual water bill £391.80 for this tax year (up from £360.62 last year).
Last year's annual gas usage was 2759.24 kWh (£260.21) and electric was 797 kWh (£382.56 - that doesn't include the £400 from the gov, after taking that into account my electric was free).

I know you're living frugally and hopefully fit and healthy but do you never go to the dentist or have your hair cut? 🤔
ETA - or plan to buy any clothes?

@maman Last time I got a hair cut was in autumn last year and it cost me £7.50 (paid by credit card so included in the groceries section), got new winter coat last year for £35 (again paid by credit card so already included) and I don't think I'll need to buy any new clothes this year, I'll be wearing clothes I have until they fall apart (the perk of not having a social life, I don't need fancy clothes and I managed to pick up a few second-hand ones on Olio for free), might get some new socks but that's it. Not currently registered with a dentist (I have savings I can use for that if needed though). I probably seem like a really boring person to anyone reading this post...
