HMRC confirmation of amount of IHT due

We submitted the IHT400 over 4 weeks ago. The online forms automatically use the figures given to give a value as does the simple inheritance tax calculation on pg12. However I also ticked the box at the top of page 12  under Working out the Inheritance Tax . It states  If you’re filling in this form yourself without the help of a solicitor or other adviser, you do not have to work the tax yourself, we can do it for you. If you want us to do this, tick here.

Ours was a little complicated involving gifts and investments exempt from IHT so although I have a figure (as its auto generated as you fill the IHT400 in) I'd like them to double check it.

Has anyone done this and how long does it usually take to hear back from them. I'm aware the clock is ticking down to six months before we pay interest, we also have to get a payment reference and wait three weeks before making a payment.

I can answer my own question.

IHT 400 submitted 5 weeks ago. 

Calculations received from HMRC today, £10k above the auto generated figure on their own IHT400 calculator using the same figures which has left me slightly confused.
