Unsuccessful attempt to create an account with Gretel

After reading the recent article regarding finding lost accounts I have tried to create an account with Gretel. Unfortunately the setup process is freezing at the end of step 2. Trying to get the website to accept the correct date of birth is a nightmare. Even after the date is accepted I choose to proceed to the next and final step, only for red alert messages to appear under each of the personal details boxes (names, etc..) asking for data that is correctly input and clearly visible on the website. I have disabled the adblocker and accepted cookies, but still no success.
