Car Insurance that will cover more than 90 days European travel?

My AXA policy renewal has increased by £90. I have searched using the MSE Money Supermarket tool and got cheaper quotes, however they won't cover more than 90 days European travel.
I've run quote for Saga which was £550. After inputting details into LV they declined to quote, not sure why, possible a couple of 4 year old claims for a named driver (spouse)and an SP30 (spouse). My record as principal driver is clear.
Can anyone advise companies that will cover for longer than 90 days?. We do 3 x 45 trips per year = 140 days a year.
I might have to bite the bullet and pay the extra to AXA. No reason for increase other than car and ourselves are one year older.
Also tried Ageas - broker checked with their Underwriters and they won't cover either!
TIA.

Search for walkabout Insurance. You will find Sterling Insurance and others who provide extended European car Insurance. Stuart Collins a Swansea based brokers is specialist in this area of Insurance. The comments I post are personal opinion. Always refer to official information sources before relying on internet forums. If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.1

I managed to get a policy through Sterling Insurance who will cover 180 days European travel. I did call the Swansea broker but they said their policies started at £1,000 ...0
