I am currently with e-on and looking to change gas and electric supplier. Which supplier would offer better rates than what I'm paying now ?

You're on the standard variable rate. Every suppliers' version of this is identical (except Octopus who sometimes have about 4% discount on the standing charge only).2
-
I believe the only cheaper option would be Octopus as their standing charge is a couple of pence cheaper than anyone else. There may be some cheaper fixes coming soon but at the moment there are no real savings available.

There is talk of a more competitive market from July.
When you do seek new suppliers you will need an annual consumption which is quoted on your bills.Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
I had a ''to switch or not to switch'' question. Thanks to your replies to lknights1987 I will stay with my tariff, Shell Energy Price Guarantee v. 3.
