TA just popping in to send my condolences on the passing of your BFF. I know you will have wonderful memories of your friendship and glad that her passing was peaceful sending you big hugs 🫂 

Picking DGC up this evening for most of half term, hoping the weather will stay fine for their visit

Hello all, I'm back too, I had a lovely rest and read a lot of the time. We visited some museums and the Cotswold wildlife park where Mr Fix It wasn't very well after lunch, I was glad to get back to the van that day. We too had wall to wall sun for the 2 weeks except for a terrific thunder storm one night and Nelski would have been proud of my tan. I will always remember our paint chart challenge 😥 it's funny how in odd times we think of our lovely friends 🧡
We came home yesterday morning and I spent most of the day doing the washing which dried well in the sunshine and this morning we have been over the van to collect the last few bits and put the cover on. I hate putting the cover back on as it's nearly divorce time 😠 I can't reach ..... and Mr Fix It can't hear me shouting ! 
The last of the holiday towels are in the wm now and this afternoon I have to sort out yesterdays dry clothes and either put them away or in the ironing basket. Left over take away for tea tonight as I was too tired to cook last night.
TA I'm so sorry to hear about your BFF, 70 years will hold lots of special memories for you. Hugs.

Good afternoon 

Not very good at managing to post, real life gets in the way.

TA sorry to hear of the sad loss of your friend. Hope you manage to think about all the good times and that your memories will help with your loss.

Ds2 is still waiting for his surgery, apparently the surgeon only operates on Mondays and this has caused a delay. He does get fed up, he is still non weight bearing, I still have a bed in my lounge along with zimmer frame, crutches and also he now has a mobility scooter. 

My poor little doggie seems to have caught fleas somewhere, I have treated her but are still finding them, I washed everything and vacuumed the house from top to bottom. I’ve got some smoke bombs to do today as well so hopefully that will help. I’m also having some dog shampoo delivered today. I just hope they go as I was meant to be going to a cottage near Chirk in snowdonia on Monday but won’t go unless she is clear.

I also had a puncture this week and my vacuum packed up too so it’s been a bit costly this month so need to reign in the spending seriously, although that’s hard as ds2 isn’t working and gets universal credit.

At least the sun is shining and I can get the washing dry.
