Well, a couple of days in to this and I still can’t quite believe it’s all paid off. I went through my budget again tonight and found another £75 to put into savings this month. Hoping I’ve thought of everything and I can keep the xtra in there,
I have a side hustle that I’ve got a big selling opportunity at this weekend. I’m hoping that I can use it over the next 6 months to raise enough money to pay for my share of our holiday next year.My Debt Free journey - started 1 May 2023. Goal date October 2026 ACHIEVED SEPTEMBER 2025

Got the husband to pimp up my savings spreadsheet last night to add the compound interest. He gets very excited when I ask him to sort out a spreadsheet for me.
I’ll add the pretty colours to it later though. My Debt Free journey - started 1 May 2023. Goal date October 2026 ACHIEVED SEPTEMBER 2025

Had a really busy weekend working on my side hustle. Managed to keep expenses low and was able to take petrol money from the business account so spending is still on track this month. My Debt Free journey - started 1 May 2023. Goal date October 2026 ACHIEVED SEPTEMBER 2025

The husband has gone through my business (Etsy side hustle) accounts for me today and I’ve been able to take £500 and put it in my holiday savings pot.
I’m trying hard to keep to my personal budgets. I had a statement come through today for my pension AVC - I only added a small amount for a few years but I think I’ll have a little lump sum to take in another few years. So yes, feeling in control. My Debt Free journey - started 1 May 2023. Goal date October 2026 ACHIEVED SEPTEMBER 2025

Ok so today I took £100 back out of the holiday savings and treated myself to a new work bag that I’ve been eyeing up for the last 3 months.

Looks like I’ve still got a few accounts that are linked to my credit card. We had a takeaway last week and I don’t think I’d realised it was on my credit card. There were also a couple of subscriptions that had gone through. Paid those all meaning that my expenses pot is looking rather sad with 2 weeks still to go to pay day.
We’ll be travelling down south to see our eldest daughter on Sunday. I have budgeted the petrol money and husband will be paying for lunch out so it shouldn’t really cost me anything unexpected. My Debt Free journey - started 1 May 2023. Goal date October 2026 ACHIEVED SEPTEMBER 2025
