Universal credit rise

I have just been working out what my UC entitlement will be in June when the rise will have taken effect.
As the rise is 10% and my usual amount is £350 am I correct thinking that it will rise by around £35 as this is 10% of £350? But when I work it out using the new allowance amounts I am coming up with a figure of about £130 more? Maths is my weak point and it's confusing me!

The amount you receive is based on how maximum UC entitlement less deductions if you have any income. Your UC maximum amount will because (10.1% increase to both elements but not housing). Once your deductions are made the % change to your actual payment will entirely depend on how your award is made up.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.0

I usually calculate how much I will be receiving when I get my wage slip and know how much to deduct for income, so I can budget for the month, and it's always accurate. I just didn't think it would be rising by that much, but using the new element amounts etc it must be correct?calcotti said:The amount you receive is based on how maximum UC entitlement less deductions if you have any income.
