new lower Price Cap and fixed rates
I fixed my rates last year when we were all being scared by the media about the impending doom of massive price rises. I fixed at a rate higher than the old cap set by the government, so only paid the rate set by that cap.
My question now is, does the same rule apply to this cap? for example the current electricity cap is below the 41p my fixed rate is set at, does this mean I will only be charged the new capped rate?
