Travel Credit Cards and Balance transfers

Is it possible to use a travel credit card abroad and then, when home, transfer the balance onto an interest free balance transfer credit card?

    Yes.  A travel card is just an ordinary credit card, the only difference is that it has the added perk of no FX fees.  But it's a credit card just like any other.
    As per usual you won't be able to transfer to another card that's owned by the same company.  But as far as it goes, it's just an ordinary credit card.
