GEUK (Green Energy UK) fixed price customer - stick or twist?

I'm currently on a Fixed Price contract with GEUK. It runs until September 30th 2023 and there are no exit fees.
Rates are as follows:
G - 11.75p per unit / 31.31p standing charge
E - 40.02p per unit / 41.65p standing charge
Gas usage is probably 100 kwhs a month for July and August, maybe up to 500 max in September if it gets cold.
Electricity usage is around 140 - 150 kwhs a month.
I have analogue meters.
So, do I stick or twist?
And if I switch supplier, who should I go to? Bearing in mind that I might switch again in a few months!
What are other GEUK customers doing?
Thanks!

Do the maths and decide if you think Putin will cause any trouble to energy supply2

Nothing Putin does will affect the price up to the end of my current fix - September 2023. I'll keep an eye out for a decent fix deal but I don't think that anything groundbreaking will come onto the market before then. What I'm really wondering is whether to leave my current fix early to get the slightly cheaper standard variable elsewhere.Mstty said:Do the maths and decide if you think Putin will cause any trouble to energy supply0 -
The maths...
If I stick with GEUK for the rest of my contract (Jul-Sep 2023) my additional cost each month will be:
July - £22
August - £22
Sept - £22-£38
So, staying on my fix vs switching to another supplier on the Ofgem price cap would cost me £66-82 extra.

I would jump ship thenWhat_time_is_it said:

Would you be able to switch from your current GEUK fix onto their SVT? Could be worth asking them.1

I don't think they have an SVT. Not sure though. I'll definitely be calling them.Strummer22 said:Would you be able to switch from your current GEUK fix onto their SVT? Could be worth asking them.0 -
Im on GE Fixed until September also but the current London price crap is not much different as unit saving is 4p vs increase of 8p for standing charge. So may stay on the fix but need to work out properly.1
