    One other thing to consider is there’s a small chance that the CC company may class it as a ‘cash-like’ transaction. 

    I wouldn’t be putting any sort of fees on a CC, the mortgage company will do a final credit check on payout and it is their absolute right to pull out even at that stage.
    If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

  • have you considered a tesco clubcard credit card if you shop there? or a sainsbury's for nectar points?

    last time i looked at top cashback there was a £25 cash back for applying for tesco's card
