What happens to my mum when dad passes (state and private pension)

You need to find your father's statement of increase in benefits which he would have received a couple of months ago.
Can you post it up (redacted to remove name/NI number/ address).
Basic state pension : £141.85
Pre 97 additional state pension : £112.67
Post 97 additional state pension : £16.75
Graduated retirement benefit: £5.66
age addition: £0.25
Total £277.18

Just a quick update on this,
My father passed away mid June
Private pension is still being sorted, but she received info on her state pension a couple of days ago and will be receiving £339 a week, about £100 a week less than the combined amount they were receiving when he was alive, but a lot more than we were thinking.
I was surprised at just how generous it is and puts our minds at rest as plenty for her to manage on.2
