New Smart Meter and moving away from British Gas

Since my original supplier went bust I was unilaterally assigned to BG for my gas and electricity. I’ve had nothing but trouble with them, including not being able to obtain a fixed deal before prices skyrocketed. However nothing can be done about that now.
My query is that I have at long last managed to get smart gas and electric smart meters 8nstalled and I’m thinking now would be a good time to change supplier. I realise the prices won’t necessarily be less but I really could do with better more accurate and time,y data as well as fair billing and direct debit setting.
my query is, will this new Smart meter be compatible with other alternative supplier’s systems. I really don’t want to have another change of meters if I can help it.
The smart meter is a geo brand trio II touch button.
if is makes any difference I have solar panels on a separate FIT tariff with Eonnext.
Many thanks for any information

The geo brand trio !! touch button  is not your Smart meter but the In House Display. The Smart will be in the garage or outdoor meter box.

This meter will be a modern SMETS2 and compatible with your new supplier and no meter change will be required.
