Full central heating and boiler

Hello,

I am having centre heating fitted and have decided to go with a company that has quoted me the following quote:

10 radiators
1 Vaillient Eco Tech 831
Full fitting

Total : £3900

(Plus I am getting a new Mira shower fitted - £300)

is difficult to say without details on length of pipe runs etc but i would say that quote is fair enough although top end if you know what i mean.

Hi was reading your thread and your quote is a blessing just got quote from british gas to remove warm air heating to gas radiators with combi boiler and quoted me .........are you sitting down .......... £7200 !!! yeap that much so i am trying to get more quotes Anyone had the same job down around the wellingborough areas ??? pse need recommendations

Hi Where2start,

I am sure you will find a quote cheaper than that. I had a lot of quotes done, all of them cheaper than £3900 but they weren't as thorough and I had to chase a number of them to actually write the quote, which didn't fill me with confidence.

Good luck in finding someone! I am getting my central heating fitted on Monday and I can't wait!

Hello - I'd also be interested in finding out what would be reasonable for a 28K Combi boiler + 9 rads to be fitted in a house which is just brick at the moment. No electrics at the mo, no plaster, no ceilings - a very easy fit I would imagine...
The only really tricky bit is we want the boiler siting in the loft which hasn't yet got ANY flooring.
Other than that due to the condition of the house at the moment, we're expecting really competitive quotes but I'm not really sure what to expect. I'd really appreciate any advice... We're in Warrington area. Ta.
