  • With regards to reason for stopping is picking up an individual a viable defence? The images they have of the vehicle are 13 seconds apart. It wasn't stopped for longer than a couple of minutes, it was not obstructing the road or causing a hazard in doing so.

    Haven't got much time to go into details, but have a look at Jopson vs home guard.
    Stopping to unload/load passengers or goods is not parking.
    Therefore have you been issued a parking charge notice for something that is not parking?
