Rant about mobile phones

I think it depends on your lifestyle and what you need; as long as you're not coming in way under your contract provisions each month, then why not?
I pay £25 on O2 each month. I get 400 texts and 3 hours 20 mins calls inclusive. I use about 300 texts a month, and use just over 3 hours of calls. All my family live miles away, I have none where I live, so I use it to keep in touch. I have a lot of friends who live all over the UK, and I hate this email culture...I can't have a good conversation on email. I like to chat with friends, be there for them and make arrangements on the phone!
I had a £20 contract previously, but it was non-peak only, and I was always going over that to the tune of £30-£50 a month.
So upping to £25 a month is great for me, and I have the reassurance of using it whenever I need to knowing I'll never have a bill bigger than that.
I don't use my landline, ever, and it's free with my TV anyway, so a contract works for me.
' <-- See that? It's called an apostrophe. It does not mean "hey, look out, here comes an S".0
