Please help I have had some letters today saying I am owed tax from as far back as 2018. At the end it says the money is going to nationwide ppi advice ltd I dnt understand I have not signed up with anyone why is it going thro them???

Because they will have made a claim using your information.

Or possibly made a false claim using your name and address.

You can ask HMRC to clarify what they received

I am in the same situation with HMRC sending them the money but can not reach anyone. What can we all do to stop this? any clues

This company appears very frequently.  And to be honest, you are probably now looking at the police (who will likely do nothing) or taking your own legal action (which will likely see you out of pocket as companies house documents show it is in debt)

You could knock on the door of the house of the company owner, who is the sole person involved in this company (it has no employees)
