    The idea with mould cleaners is they have an additional ingredient that not only kills the mould on the surface but gets down to the roots of the mould and kills it off completely. 

    Bottle of mould cleaner is £1.29 in a local shop our way, granted that's a few pennies more than bleach costs but not the biggest expense going.

    And yet the people who clean driveways for a living use dilute sodium hypochlorite - which is essentially concentrated bleach - for killing mould.
