Does a credit balance get refunded?

Hi All,
I made a bit of an error and balance transferred the balance of my Tesco credit card to another existing card offering a 0% BT deal. The error is that I didn't check properly and did it the day my dd payment came out leaving the tesco card £130 in credit.
Just wondering if they refund it or it sits there until used?
Thanks!
Naomim

If you get in touch with Tesco, they should be able to transfer the credit to your bank account.1

Thanks, if they can't refund I'll dig the card out the deep freeze and use it for this months petrol. 😁0

They'll always refund (in my experience) if you ask them to. And I've always found Tesco customer service to be very helpful.

They are obligated to refund it.1
