DRP debt recovery letter

I received a £170 fine / debt recovery letter from Debt Recovery Plus. I made the mistake of contacting them as it was the first I had heard of a parking fine. I comes about, my post code is incorrect on my V5C. I have read some threads to ignore the letters, but as I have already contacted them, am I too late? Unsure wat to do. My wife paid the ticket on the day, but went over by 4mins, which had we received the parking fine, would have tried to argue our case, but DRP say it is too late and we need to pay. Can I still ignore?

What is the name of the parking company?

Have you now corrected the Vehicle Registration Document(V5c)?
    Can be done online.

Overstay by 4 minutes cannot cause a PCN.

More likely they added that to the time taken to download an app or find change, queue and pay.

    Or wrong VRM typed in?

This is not a 'fine' and shouldn't be called that.

    Which PPC?

The name of the PPC is important.

DRP ARE ONLY ROGUE OPERATORS and there is nothing they can do ... IGNORE THE FOOLS.

The added £70 is just a scam approved by the BPA ....... And worst of all, government approved the BPA

Other than trying a landowner/retailer complaint asking them to intervene to get this cancelled (they can kill this dead), just ignore anything further from DRP.

Come back if you receive a Letter of Claim from solicitors representing ECP, or a county court claim form via the Northampton CCBC.  ECP don't currently issue claims for single, one-off tickets, but they do have 6 years in which to do so. Update them on any change of address anytime in the next 6 years.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

The PPC is Euro Car Parks Ltd. Fine issued in Jan, only received debt recovery notice last week, probably all due to post code on V5 being incorrect for 10yrs🤦‍♂️
