This is the template defence you should be using for a UKPC/DCB Legal claim:

however my new case is different in the sense there is proper signage all around and it was a different reason so I’m seeking help again
You might want to get some photos of what you think is ‘proper signage all around’ and let the regulars comment on it. Most parking signage is so poor it often cannot form a contract which they are now alleging you broke.

Use that one and adjust your paragraphs 2 & 3 to suit your circumstances.  It is a combination of the standard template defence and the usual one when there are sparse POC.

Thanks i did this, got the auto response but I digitally signed it as I didnt have a scanner but then they replied saying needs to be signed; so i found a way to print and scan from phone which I did.

however I only checked again now think the document wasnt able to be opened so Im worried it wont be acceptable and it’s past the deadline.

Send it again by email now, and ring them.  Takes CCBC an hour or more to answer.

Did they SERIOUSLY reject a defence as it was digitally signed, even though ALL parking form claim documents are digitally signed?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This was the reply I got below, this was like 1 hour after I submitted, I was quite surprised too as I often digitally sign stuff for work, thought it may as its not a physical signature- (it’s done by adobe pdf - just my name and dated and states digitally signed)

    Thank you for your response.

I’ve processed your response but am returning it to you as it wasn’t signed.

If the case goes to court, it may not be considered a valid document.

So in my response, I did say it was digitally signed, I just called and got through eventually  and the person said she couldn’t see my second one had been registered or check if they could open it but I could re-send again now and call tomorrow to see if it had been registered.

She also stated as my original had been registered in time it didnt matter that It was re-sent today, I have re-sent it again and this time I checked it can be opened by cc’ing myself too, so fingers crossed!
