Morning all chilly but dry this morning not much going on i have the landscaper starting tomorrow and DS needs dropping at the airport DGS will be here Thursday and Friday.
I need to get looking at internal flights to Delhi for our trip to India at the start of December as this time we hope to visit the Taj Mahal last time we did Mumbai and the Gateway to India as usual an evening street food tour will be booked as we find that a great way to see things you wouldn't normally see or eat , luckily we had a voucher from TUI due to building work in Mexico when we went which has made the holiday very reasonable and the first 2 weeks of December are always the cheapest of the year. I also need to do a planner for the cruise that i am doing in a couple of weeks with DD's and DGS something we always did with my mum and i want to continue DGS will be taking her place near the self serve ice cream machine and loos in the shadei noticed there are quite a few walking tours leaving the ship so we will follow them to see the best bits. Dinner tonight left overs from yesterdays roast

Just a quick good morning from me as I was late up and have few things to do before work.
It has been a lovely weekend here so I've alternated between pottering in the garden and finishing my book.
Gers hope you feel better soon - and also Snoozer and family - I hope the little ones don't get it especially when they've already been poorly
hope everyone has a good day x11 -
snoozer said:Hi everyone,
Gers, we think Chris caught COVID on his flight back from Rome so it might be worth doing a test. Unfortunately he has passed it on to me, Crystal and Nate so far. It looks like Steve and Laura might be coming down with it as well, deep joy. I just hope Esben and Esther escape, he has had chicken pox and tonsillitis in the last couple of weeks and she has had. The pox and is teething hard so neither of them need a dose of COVID. My phone insists on capitalising it for some reason.
Have a good day. Thanks snoozer - I did one before meeting Camelot on Saturday which was negative and that was four days after I got back so I'm pretty sure it's just a nasty cold. It should last three or four days so my fingers are crossed.COVID does have capitals so it's correct, if annoying!Rosy, how rotten for your SIL.Coxy, my first car was a white mini, the first type with a huge steering wheel and not much else. I can remember being rather scared driving up the old A74 to Glasgow, I'd tuck in behind a lorry and stay there as the headlights weren't wonderful. I was so low to the ground too and hated overtaking lorries as I was sure that they couldn't see me.

Morning all. the weather is doing that vey fine drizzle that gets you wet in no time, but I don't plan on going out today so that's OK. I have some magazines to read so i can get shot of them, some tidying and putting away, general houseworky stuff. I saw the next door neighbour yesterday who hates my cypress trees, he's always asking me when I'm going to chop them down, and no, they aren't over his garden at all. So I told him I was going to because they died over the winter, but then I told him I was only cutting off the feathery bits, I was leaving the trunk bit as a future plant support, so he got his wish but not as he expected...
I think a passsion flower or my favourite, a trachelospermum is on the cards...I know just the place to get one from...funny that isn't it?
Gers, get wel soon, loving the pink teddy bears and wedding stories. snoozer, you've had an unlucky few months, here's hoping it gets better soon too. bella, that sounds really cool. When I think my mother went to India in the eighties and saw all this exciting stuff I feel quite boring and staid. Scarlet, hope the anti bodies are helping..Izzy, enjoy your catch up! Iris, and your meet up! Ruby, yes she was wasn't she..We did a lot of talking about food, I feel like I should make proper pasties in her honour. Take care all, it's a weird one today...Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi11
