Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Dry underfoot, forecast is for mainly dry day. Got a line of washing to peg out shortly.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Lunch yesterday was roast chicken, only yorkshires and mash left - but can use those for another meal. Tonight we'll be having fish, new potatoes, and beans/veg.
Weekend has been productive, with several jobs being done a few more will be finished off next weekend, then those jobs have been done.
Back to work for me today, it'll be interesting to see what's happening, as there's been some changes that I know won't have gone down well with some colleagues.
Keep safe and well x

Morning All
Bright this morning after a miserable, but warm, day yesterday. Washing was done last night and is on the line.
I was up and out early yesterday for a good day with DS1 and family. Nice lunch and a good chat, DGS had been for a Beaver camp out in the church hall so he fell asleep and DGD was upstairs doing whatever 12 year olds do so nice to chat with DS1 and his DP without constant interruptions!
Back to the grind today but only a 4 day week so all is good. Lots to do at home - the dreaded driveway is to sand and the sunflowers to put out. Must cut the grass too this week, hope it stays dry.
Hugs to all, happy Monday. Take care. XX10 -
Morning folks.I'm laid a bit low with this cold which headed immediately to my chest. The catarrh isn't helping as I can't sleep for the drip! Tonight I'll resort to night nurse. Yesterday was a bit of a washout for me, today will probably be the same, I'll take paracetamol later and just rest. I've cancelled my fitness class for tomorrow, can't be coughing over all the much older people there. The pink bears I posted yesterday are called Bellygom and are from a utube programme in Korea. Along with the k-pop thing a lot of the population seem very infantilised. My nephew and his new wife are enjoying their honeymoon in Italy.Nothing much will happen here except drinking a lot of water. Today is the second anniversary of my DM's death so I'll be thinking of her too. Bella, you're in my mind too.Happy Monday to all.10

Morning all
Its a bit dull and overcast here but the sun is due out later and it’s meant to be nice and warm, two ladies coming today one can’t walk too far so I will see what they would like to do, maybe a walk around the shops with a coffee somewhere.
Chicken for dinner tonight Ive not decided what to do with it yet but I am sure something will come to me.
I did the housework yesterday morning and OH moved the lawn and then chopped a load of wood so we have plenty for next winter, we then got our bikes out and went for a ride, we ended up going for 12 miles which was lovely, we had a bbq in the evening.
Gers hope you feel better soon xx
Have good days all and take care xx10 -
Morning all and thanks for the start nmlc x
Busy weekend which included visiting Sevenoaks for CS browsing. We did buy a mirror for the hallway (long overdue) from O/Bonas though. Sunday DDad and I went to a boot fair and I purchased a couple of bits to Bay of E for charity. We then went to Brighton to see DD. Didn't know there was a Mini rally on, so traffic was challenging. Good to see so many Mini enthusiasts though and the original Minis are the best!
WFH today. DDad has a cold so I need to keep him home today and dose him up. Dinner will be the SW easy chicken curry with rice.
Lovely to hear about the wedding and the pink bears @Gers!
Enjoy your meet up @iris x
Have a good day everyone,

He hand painted the roof so it was racing green body and bright yellow roof
Happy Days !
We pottered in the garden most of the day, DH gave the bbq a scrub ready for use but we need a new cover, it's ripped. I cooked the gammon, I had mine with salad,he just had a sandwich, lots left for using this week . DS finished off the Indian take away, it wasn't as good as usual, wonder if it's a different chef! The car has a bit of a problem and is going in on Wednesday, luckily we can still get around in the van.My DB2 has just messaged to say Sil has fallen and broken her wrist, they're on hols in SpainRight better get on , have a good day x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Hi everyone,
Gers, we think Chris caught COVID on his flight back from Rome so it might be worth doing a test. Unfortunately he has passed it on to me, Crystal and Nate so far. It looks like Steve and Laura might be coming down with it as well, deep joy. I just hope Esben and Esther escape, he has had chicken pox and tonsillitis in the last couple of weeks and she has had. The pox and is teething hard so neither of them need a dose of COVID. My phone insists on capitalising it for some reason.
Have a good day.
