Hi.
My bedroom is around 6x3m and we're getting it completely done from top to bottom.
Ceiling stripped, painted and a new light fitted.
Walls stripped and painted
New skirting and flooring installed
2 radiators replaced
Light switch and 2 plug sockets replaced.
Internal wardrobe stripped, walls made good and new drawers made/purchased (don't know their plan). Wardrobe is around 2x1m.
We'll be buying the paint, radiators, skirting, light, plug, flooring etc. They will be getting the stuff for the wardrobe.
All for just over £2k.
Does this sound reasonable? What actually threw me off is the wardrobe. I've got quoted (and tried to proceed with) various carpenters and fitters and the quote on that alone was almost £2k.

Have you been given any info re how long the works will take? What's your time estimate?
You can then work out hourly rates.
