RCI lower rates for existing customers?

Opened a 14 day notice evolve account with RCI as an existing customer. Advertised rate to new customers is 3.7% but as an existing customer I can only open an account at 3.48% (both gross). Similarly opened easy access account. Rate for new customers is Advertised as 3.6% but as an existing customer it is Advertised as 3.45%. (again both gross).

Is this right or a bug in their system, or have they not updated yet?

With RCI, anything is possible. I found them a complete shambles when I took their 1yr fix several months ago. They showed the wrong AER and after months of messages still does.  Staff don't appear to know the meaning of "AER".

All sorted now thanks. They just had a delay for a few days. Now existing customer rates have increased
