FSCS scheme - shared institutions

Is there a definitive list anywhere of which institutions share the £85k FSCS protection. I can’t seem to put the correct information in to get this information from their site.

I ask as I just opened a Ford Money account and the process seemed identical to Aldermore which rang a few alarms and then today the customer ID came through which again is more or less identical to that with Aldermore - just three digits different.

IIRC, both providers use Newcastle Strategic Solutions (part of Newcastle BS) to enable online banking, but they don’t share coverage

Thanks, the MSE link worked fine. The FSCS clearly doesn’t like my iPad!

Relieved - so will now transfer money in.

No worries, here is the FSCS checker result - for peace of mind:

The definitive list used to be published in list form (i.e. rather than having to search individually) by the Bank of England and the PRA, but the most recent one I can find is nearly a year old:

    https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/-/media/boe/files/prudential-regulation/authorisations/which-firms-does-the-pra-regulate/2022/list-of-banking-brands-july-2022.pdf

but there doesn't seem to be a link to this from the obvious place anymore:

    https://www.bankofengland.co.uk/prudential-regulation/authorisations/which-firms-does-the-pra-regulate

Does anyone know if they still update this and if it can be reached via a sensible navigation through the BoE (or any other) site?
