Purchasing through PayPal

Options
I bought a model partwork using PayPal , now there were 100+ issues and all were there bar one , which means it cannot be built as it is an important part for the build.  The seller apologised and said they are sending out the replacement copy.  How long should I give before raising a SNAD dispute, as it was £400 worth and whilst I want the item, without this missing issue it is in effect worthless. I’m considering until next weekend, but is there a time limit for claiming back via PayPal or eBay?

I would open the eBay case straight away (within 30 days on eBay). All communication then takes place via the case and the seller can continue to send you the part/replacement.

When the replacement arrives and you are happy, you can simply close the case.
If not then you can forward the case to eBay, who can see all details in the one case.

Sellers sometimes drag their feet with issues - opening the case creates deadlines so will speed the process up.
