Old account info - Nationwide Champion ISA (passbook)

Morning.
Does anyone have any saved info (t&C's) from back in circa 2010 when this account was available?
Any old links on the closed threads are no longer working.
Anyone know what the (probably negligible) interest rate is currently?
I can't seem to find any info on their website about it. ( It's not my account.)
Thanks.

How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)

I had a Champion ISA back in the day. The interest rate was the average of the ISA rates of five other financial institutions. Looking online at old news stories it was a 60 day notice ISA (which I had completely forgotten about). It only lasted a short time and Champion ISAs were converted to instant access ISAs with no interest rate ties to other institutions. I do not know the new name of former Champion ISAs. Probably best to contact Nationwide directly.1

When they converted the account, did they keep the original passbook? How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0

If you plug the URL of old links into the Wayback Machine, you'll find archived copies of the old pages such as:Sea_Shell said:Does anyone have any saved info (t&C's) from back in circa 2010 when this account was available?

As far as I am aware, the original passbook continued to be used until it was full. Only then would a new passbook be issued with the new account type stated.Sea_Shell said:When they converted the account, did they keep the original passbook?

Those pages refer to the Champion Saver (a similar non-ISA account) rather than the Champion ISA itself. There may have been some differences (other than the differences between all ISAs and non-ISA accounts)

Thanks for the info.
Here's hoping that the account has now reverted to easy access, as likely to be closed and funds moved elsewhere ASAP.
I'm guessing the new(er) EA account that it changed to will be earning sub 1% interest? How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 2.60% of current retirement "pot" (as at end May 2025)0 -
Hadn't spotted that but the archived pages relating to the ISA are also available at the same site, such as:hpas251 said:

Presumably then you're less interested in what the account terms were in 2010 but are really seeking information about what happened to them once they were no longer available as a product? Their legacy easy access ISA products seem to be paying 1.25% (or more for >£10K) currently, but Nationwide would need to confirm the current status - initiating a transfer would force the issue, in that the transferred balance would include all outstanding interest, but it would perhaps be worth taking the passbook to Nationwide first to see the detail if it hasn't been updated for a long time.Sea_Shell said:Here's hoping that the account has now reverted to easy access, as likely to be closed and funds moved elsewhere ASAP.

I’m surprised you cannot see this in internet banking.0
