Tinned tuna

Can I take a couple of tins of tuna into Spain in my checked in hold luggage?
It's in spring water if that makes a difference.
I have checked gov website, but as ever with the government of the day, it's not clear. TIA

It's readily available in Spanish supermarkets

Could you not substitute locally purchased fresh tuna, assuming such is readily available ?

Friends of ours had an apartment in Tenerife late last year and invited us over for dinner - tuna steaks, delicious.

Incidentally, what is rammy ?

It's nothing to do with 'the government of the day'.  You are looking in the wrong place.  For regulations on imporation to Spain you need to check Spanish law, not UK.
