Music Magpie phone rental chaos

Can any forum members help me out with Music Magpie rentals? The first iPhoneX I rented was faulty and sent back using a generated label. After 2 weeks I was still paying and MM said they didn’t have it and intended to charge me for the value of the ‘lost’ phone. Luckily Royal Mail confirmed signed delivery. I’m still waiting for the contract to be closed. 

Second iPhoneX also faulty, this time, the site won’t generate a label, so I can’t return it. Numerous contacts with bots returning the same unhelpful response when I clearly send screen shots of the problem. 
I am paying for a dud phone and can’t return it. I’ve tried their app and rentals don’t show on it. I dare not remove my bank details as I still technically have a phone on rental. 

Has anyone got any experience that will help me see the end of renting phones from Music Magpie?

my mental health is challenging at the mo and this really, really doesn’t help.
