Found travellers cheques

I was tidying up and found some travellers cheques, issued by HSBC via Thomas Cook. They probably date from about 2010.
A quick internet search says all I have to do is visit my own bank, sign them and pay them in. This has not proved to be the case, and two of the banks we hold accounts with declined to bank them for us, the Post Office, and the HSBC also declined as did the money exchange. All said they were still valid, but they didn’t know how to process them.
An online chat with HSBC ended with the person advising I take them to my local branch, which is what we tried and were sent away
Can any of the wise people on here help with this dilemma ?

Thank you both, I will print out the form and send them off.
Any money back will be welcome, as I didn’t know I had them until last Saturday.1 -
In case this is helpful, we got back the face values, less £2.50 each cheque.
They deal with lots of these found when an elderly person dies, so the probate section on the form is comprehensive.13 -
A good result and thanks for updating. Very few new posters bother to do so.0

I am a new poster, but have been reading and learning from this forum for many years, so appreciate the knowledge and the time people take to answer questions.
I particularly value the advice on how to make a penny go a long way, budgeting, retirement planning and sadly, two years ago the probate section when we lost mum.5
