I have set up a LTD copany under my home address which has been inactive fore a copel of years. I am now looking to start trading. As I work for mhome and on the computer and telephone only,I need to register my business at the differemnt address to my home one as I don;t want any client;s etc knocking up my door. So having a virtual office seems like a right thing to do.
I am looking at the recommendations of the companies you are using for this.
For exmaple I came across the below:
For £65 pa they seem to provide lots of things such as virtual office, document scanning and redirection, admi nstaff answering the calls whe nI am not available etc. All looks very nuice but feels too cheap for that amount of features.
I need legitimate company that is also GDPR compliant.
Thanks a lot

Be aware that it will usually be fairly obvious if you're using a virtual office, and it may put some people off.
Do you have an accountant, and would they offer such a service?Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
Your company will continue to show its history of addresses on Companies House and so having already registered it at your home address it's not too late to play cloak and dagger to try and hide it. As noted above, its easy to spot those using forwarding addresses because of the 2,000 plus others using the same address and it will put some off
You are generally much better off being open about who you are and where you are based unless you are in one of a few protected industries like the jewerly trade in which case Royal Mail have better solutions in place but would still be too late having already publicised your actual address0 -

We started to receive unwanted mail due to someone my OH used to work with finding our address being registered for my tiny ltd company via companies house. We've changed the address to that of our accountants and the unwanted mail has stopped.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages, student & coronavirus Boards, money saving boards. My accountant is cheap but not exactly great. If my matters become more complicated I will be looking at changing them. So don't want to make even more ties with them.

Did you find the solution actually?
Do you mind sharing it?0 -
A further downside with virtual addresses is that you can't register for a Google business entry which is a loss of valuable free marketing0
