Hi all
I have 2 minute rolled oats in the morning. I have 2 of those small packets with milk, Don’t add sugar or any other toppings.
Is there a similar supermarket own brand which is just a nice and creamy that will cook in 2 minutes. And cheaper.

Morrisons Savers porridge oats are the cheapest at 70p a kilo this week. The others have just gone up to about 84p.
My porridge oats get put to soak in water in the glass dish, while we have our early morning pot of tea. They take 2 minutes to cook in the dish in the microwave. I like porridge with evaporated milk and a bit of fruit.

I used to shop in Morrisons about 4 times a week, but after very poor customer service I’ve not shopped there for 2 yrs and never will again no matter what offer they have on.1

The majority of own brand rolled oats will cook in the same time & with good results, particularly if you presoak for a few minutes with your milk.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I also soak porridge oats overnight - I cup oats, 1 cup water, then in the morning add a cup of milk before cooking. It’s really no hassle to soak them, takes less than a minute, do it whilst the kettle boils for a cup of tea 😉Books read 2023 - 49/752

I posted this previously and made this in bulk for my husband. I sense from your replies you are probably asking for something that's more convenient but if you try this then you will probably have something very similar to your Quakers but at a fraction of the price.
Toast 600g of oats in the oven on a tray for about 20 minutes.
Then put roughly 400g of them in a blender, along with a teaspoon of salt, 90g of skimmed milk powder and 50g of sugar. (optional).
Blend together.
Stir with the rest of the oats. Store in an airtight container.
To make up put three dessert spoons of mix into a cup/bowl.
Cover with boiling water. Leave for a couple of minutes and stir.
Top with fruit, seeds, cinnamon.
