Renewing driving licence

I've just renewed my driving licence at age 73. Both this time and at age 70 I did it online, and on both occasions the licence took 4 days to arrive and the form-filling was straightforward. I can really recommend renewing online!

I’m 70 in a few weeks and was about to renew online…but then saw that doing this would cause some of my entitlements to be removed.2

You need to apply by post to keep C1 and D10

You also need Form DLM 1 filled in by a doctorTadleyBaggie said:C1 and D1.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
Thanks didn't realise that. I think I will just do it online and and lose the C1 and D1 entitlements, I don't actually need them.lincroft1710 said:

That's exactly what I did. I did think about keeping the C1/D1 entitlements, but would have only needed them if I bought an over 3500 kg motorhome (haven't even bought a sub 3500 kg one!)TadleyBaggie said:

Did you have to send a new photo?0

Not if you have a fairly recent passport photo, the DVLA will use that.Somniac said:Did you have to send a new photo?0
