Electric smart meter is not sending readings, so quarterly bill is showing E, when it shouldnt be! :|

Cant see on photo but the WAN keeps flashing green on and off.

    Hi,
ok, can you read actual meter, then send reading to supplier, to get corrected?
    Reading from picture is 02235.
Edit, you might want to trim sticker on the photie, seems to have your address on it.

The WAN light should flash once every 5 seconds in normal operating mode. That said, there is an ongoing issue with some WNC1 comms hubs which only your supplier can resolve with the DCC.

It also depends on whether the supplier’s employees know how to do their jobs. I was moved to Shell energy as supplier of last resort and the smart meter that they and Pure Planet (went bust hence back to Shell, not happy) had been able to read, could now not be read. About a year of requesting, complaining and notifying Ofgem and then I had a PV system installed. Smart meter could now be read. Moved to Octopus (to take advantage of better feed in rate) and the Smart meter and in home device updated and half hourly readings available with the IHD updating within 15 seconds of a load being applied.
In reality, what we all need are competent people doing their jobs.
