Agree it isn't currently the best deal in town, but I still can't see them walking away from it in October.That being said, if they do drop the rate to two halves of b***er all, I'll be on the move!!0

I only have circa £6k in the esaver account, so even if I moved it away from Santander to one of the other institutions paying 3.7% or 4%, it wouldn't make much difference. If I had more sat there, then yes, I would be moving it.
The convenience of being able to move money between our Santander current a/c and the esaver is worth the +/- £30 annual loss in interest at the current rates.
But if it does drop below 3% in the future, whilst other rates continue to increase I will move it.1
