Loan - Welcome Finance

Hi  look for some information /advice 
I took a secured load out in 2007 with Welcome Finance. I believe this load has been paid in full , I am not paying anything currently and no one is requesting payments for this load. 
 Appreciate this is from 2007 and Welcome Finance is no longer , however I cannot find a letter stating this has been paid  and the land registry notice is still against my property  which  wont be removed  until I can provide evidence the account is closed.

 I have connected the company that is now handling Welcome accounts and they do not have any records of my account. i also connect the company who handled  i think the liquidation details of WF who provided me with additional contact details one of which had no idea what i was talking about and the other i cannot find any trace of - Prime Credit 5. 
Please can i check if anyone have any info for prime credit 5,  or have experience of  the same thing or can provide any advice of what i can do next  to able me to provide the evidence that my account is paid (or not) and therefore remove the land registry notice from my property.

Any advice/ information/ help is greatly  appreciated  as i feel i am stuck in limbo . thank you

You may want to go to the house buying section House buying, renting & selling — MoneySavingExpert Forum

 and find the Land Registry rep. They will advise what you need to do to get a charge removed, if you cannot find the person who holds the charge.

Thank you I have rang land registry but they cannot remove until I have evidence the account has closed
