Running a Ltd company from overseas

Hi, hopefully, this is the correct sub. 
I am thinking of moving to Romania from the UK and running my home business, registered in the UK from Romania. 
In regards to tax, could anyone provide insight on what I would have to pay? and on dividends, how much if any tax would I pay. 
Any other information would be appreciated!

You'd best consult an expert specialising in tax issues for ex pat UK nationals.

We wouldn't allow this under contract at all and would only work with an EU company on this basis for EU work. Many companies are in the same boat.

I assume you have an EU citizenship or have considered the correct way to get an immigration permit.

Taxes in Romania are quite different in structure to the UK so you will need to take this into account also. Romania is not a low tax country.

You would really need to speak to a proper tax consultant - I believe as a general rule you would pay UK tax on anything you earn in the UK but it also matters I think whether you take salary or dividends. You'd also have to look at whether Romania would also charge you tax on your UK earnings or not.
