Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Damp underfoot, forecast is for mainly dry day. Got a line of towels dry outside.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was smoked sausage pasta, lovely it was too. LO roast tonight.
Work was busy yesterday - hoping not so busy today.
Keep safe and well x

Morning All
Thanks for the start nmlc.
Washing was dried outside yesterday, it's a bit dull this morning so glad I don't have a wash load today.
Finished scraping the drive - time to play with the power washer! I have some wooden planters out the front that are rotten, my neighbours are getting a skip at the weekend so they are going in there, need to look for something else as it's a bit boring out there.
Sorry you've not been well Scarlet, hope you're on the mend.
Must dash, don't know what I've been doing this morning but it's not getting ready for work!
Take care. XX8 -
Good morning, thanks for starting NMLC.
It's a nice morning, a little bit chilly, but it's early, should warm up a bit.
I've washed my two warm winter coats and they are going away till the end of October I hope. I have other coats(too many!) of varying warmth levels
Yesterday was an ok day, I was just catching up round the house, and took 2 bags of stuff to the cs.
Dil's mum has asked me to make 2 small bolster style cushion covers, so I'm hoping to start them today. I just need to go out this morning for piping cord and zips.
We'll go to the quiz tonight .We went last week, but I was glad to get home, the room was cold and I didn't feel well, so went straight to bed when we came home, I just could not warm up.
However, I'm finishing another course of anti b's today and feeling much better.
Hope everyone is all right and has a good day today.
Take care folks.

Morning all
Dry and bright here but with a chill wind hope that drops soon. Three people coming today and we were planning on a long walk with a stop at the pub but OH and I did the walk Sunday and it’s really muddy and dangerous for people slipping so we will think again when they arrive.
Something with mince for dinner tonight probably a spag Bol without the spag for me, dd is working a late so she will get fed at work.
I need to run the hoover round before my guests come.
Have good days all and take care xx8 -
Morning everyone and thanks for starting us off nlmc. The sun is shining so I have hung the washing out.
I will probably go in the garden later.
We all enjoyed the film 'The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry'.
Hope you all have a great Tuesday. x

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. Another lovely sunny day but I am hoping the nippy wind we had yesterday has dropped. The bed has been stripped and it should all dry outside.
I actually spurred myself on yesterday and attacked (but not with gusto) the weeds in the front garden. Not a very thorough job but it looks a bit tidier for now. Then the usual hassle of rounding Sparkle up and the tussle getting her in the carrier for the trip to the vet. I am shattered by the time I get her in it.
I have decided, now the weather seems to be picking up, to make my first trip of the season to the caravan at the end of the week. DD and the girls have been a few times but I have been waiting for it to get a bit warmer. Today I am going to make a start sorting out everything I need to take for me and Sparkle. I brought everything back when we closed up last year. I hope she remembers going before and doesn't spend the week under one of the beds!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for the poorlies, getting better or MIA. Take care and stay safe x

Hi everyone, Glad you're feeling better Scarlet. Camelot, you, Izzy and taff always make me feel lazy, you are always busy. I'm just waiting for the cleaner to arrive although there isn't a lot to do because we've all been away - she's here now so we've had a conversation about what else she can do. Talking about eating I've decided to try the Glucose Goddess Method. Both Laura and I have conditions which pre-dispose us to type 2 diabetes and both have borderline glucose levels. I've looked at the Michael Mosley 800 calorie a day which I've done before but it's a bit too extreme with all the people in the house so I've found this which is designed to lower your blood sugar without being too intense and looks doable. I also have to take my BP every day for the doctor so this week is concentrate on health week. Chris and Crystal got back from Rome yesterday, they said that Nate attracted a lot of attention everywhere he went, he's got beautiful blonde flyaway hair and big blue eyes, he also knows how to lay a crowd with huge grins and waves. Esben is obviously on the mend and feeling a bit bored because Laura said his behaviour yesterday was appalling. While I don't want him to be naughty it's a bit of like mother, like son, she used to have her moments. I want to go and pull some weeds, Steve is golfing. This afternoon might be a jaunt to Cambridge if the new bras I ordered are ready to collect at Bravissimo. I ordered two because I bought my last batch of white ones together (3 bras) and over the last few weeks two of them have suffered broken wires so I'm being prepared. Have a good day. Have a good day.9

I don't know what happened to the formatting, it had paragraphs when I typed it.8

Morning all my catching up seems to be slow progress but at least the washing is all done I am off to Costco in a bit with DS then just some light housework this afternoon other than that just trying to sort out child minding duties for the next few weeks
Snoozer pleased to hear Esben is on the mend i agree its hard not to have a little chuckle when the grandchildren imitate the parents when they were their age DD2 was worrying about DGS eating habits i reminded her of the worry we had when she would only eat tomatoes, cucumber and chips at about 2years old drove me mad
Good luck to all of you on eating plans i always start out with good intentions but my will power is very weak. Dinner tonight Katsu curry and rice with poppadoms
Have a good day whatever you are up to stay safe and i hope the sun is shinning wherever you are x

Morning everyone
Not as sunny as it was yesterday but it's dry here with no wind.
I'm a bit later this morning as I woke with an awful migraine so I stayed in bed for a bit. I was shattered after just being at work for the afternoon yesterday - it's ridiculous really.
Snoozer - I have just the same with little one and her mummy - so much of what she does is just the same. When we were at Butlins DD kept saying turn your head around when you're walking - she was just the same she was always looking behind her as she walked or ran. I really hope she's a nicer teenager than her mummy was!
Eldest DD was worse for eating though for years everything was beige except for cucumber - now she eats anything.
Still got bits in my suitcase I really should have sorted by now so I'm going to get that done before I go down to work - DD will pick me up with little one.
Hope everyone has a good day today x
